Dark Prince by Christine Feehan

Raven Whitney has over used her telepathic abilities hunting serial killers. Touching their deranged minds has left her seeking solitude and rest. Mikhail Dubrinsky's telepathic abilities are unlike any she's ever encountered. He's a welcome and enticing distraction but he may be the most dangerous man she's encountered yet. Dark Prince is the first book in the Dark Series.

This review is for the original published version of Dark Prince not the Author's Cut Special Edition.

I had fun rereading this book. Raven and Mikhail are central characters to the Dark Series so it's nice to see how they met. The story is a bit clunky at first with the sole focus being on the couple's intense attraction and connection to each other.

The story feels a bit dated at times. Though I like how it feels like a prologue to the series. I really liked how there was a sense of mystery surrounding Mikhail and the Carpathians. The second half of the book picks up by adding more action to the story.

Dark Prince is a decent read and introduction to the Dark Series.
